Charlie Hammack, New Caney, TX

These days Hammack fishes the FLW Texas Tournament Trail (TTT), Anglers Choice Pro/Am Circuit, and a regional team circuit (Excel Bass). Charlie promotes his sponsors at seven major promotional events per year. It’s a busy schedule but Hammack manages, and still makes time to run his successful HVAC (heating, ventilating and air conditioning) business in Houston, near where Charlie and his wife Mary make their home.

Mark Mitchell, Mesquite, TX

Succeeding in Texas club and tournament trail competition since 1991, Mark Mitchell has earned six Angler of the Year titles, a seven time Championship Qualifier, six time Top Six finisher and held a number of Big Bass club records. But the tournament credentials and awards are not the important issues to Marc nowadays. What is important is being a positive role model and a leader in the fishing industry, in his community, and to all future fishermen, who are our children. That is why Mark participates in programs such as the Get Hooked on Fishing and Not on Drugs Tournament; Take a Kid Fishing Month; Gone Fishing For an Education Scholarship Bass Tournament; and American Heart Association Celebrity Tournament.

Mark's a Fireman/Paramedic in the Dallas Fire Department since 1989. Mark also owns and operates M. D. MITCHELL STUDIO since 1988, working as a free-lance fashion photographer providing a variety of photographic needs in the field of commercial, editorial, fashion, and nature/wildlife photography. Mark's goals also include producing a fishing TV show in the future.

Ken Smith, Dallas, TX

When he's not busy estate planning as a partner for IPS Advisors, Inc. in Dallas, Texas, Ken Smith is  performing board of director duties for the Our Children's Center of Irving. Ken's also active in Dallas Estate Planning Council, North Texas Estate Planning Council, and Dallas Association of Life Underwriters.

Other than that, he spends every available minute, over 100 days a year fishing with his longtime companion Magpie (the chocolate Lab) who turned 14 this year.

Ken has fished the BASSMASTER Central Open trail from 1993 to 1999, not being able to swing the last few years due to the travel required. Sticking closer to home lately, Ken now fishes two local team circuits, Honey Hole and Media Bass, plus two individual circuits, the BFL Cowboy Division and Media Bass. Ken is one of the reigning Anglers of the Year in his Honey Hole division. Incredibly, Ken has also managed to lower his golf score handicap from a 16 to a 9 while fishing 4 bass circuits the past 12 months. All that pitching and flipping helps hone the old golf stroke says Ken!
