Color 325 Oxblood
November, 2003 - New color 325 Oxblood is cinnamon brown indigo plastic (the indigo adds purple blush) with small red flakes. Not only has it proven to be a regional favorite on the clear waters of Southern California for which it was originally developed, but Senko fans across the country have proven oxblood excels everywhere for them.

Color 326 Senko Shiner (formerly color 905)
September, 2003 - The Japanese word Senko means Flash and that's just what the 326 Senko Shiner does! A transparent body, gold and silver scale-like sparkles and sparse black spots complete the illusion of life. You'll want to keep 326 in your bait bucket instead of your tackle box.

Color 327 Fire Tiger

Sugoi Fluorocarbon Dropshot Line - 5, 6, 8 lb test
June, 2003 - We wanted our own fluorocarbon line that would work best on our Yamamoto dropshot spinning rods. Crystal clear and 100% Fluorocarbon, with less stretch than other fluorocarbons. The 5, 6, and 8# test line comes on a 120m/130yd spool, plus the 5 & 6# test comes on 300m/328yd spool. This line has less spool memory than the gray spinning or clear casting line that is currently available. It is an excellent addition to the Sugoi line.

Color 236 Senkos - Root Beer w/Green & Copper
This color Senko first gained some local fame on Texican big bass waters like Sam Rayburn, Toledo Bend and Lake Fork. Anglers in the know furtively referred to the color as "Dirt" but Team Yamamoto's B.A.S.S. pro Ben Matsubu says 236 also looks uncannily close to a crawfish color!

16T, 18T, 12T & 19T Saltwater Tough Grubs
Due to overwhelming customer demand, Gary Yamamoto is now proud to offer you four saltwater models of 5" and 6" inch single and double tail grubs made with a saltwater tough plastic formula.
Inshore gamesters like stripers, bluefish, weakfish, puppy drum, tarpon, snook, barracuda, bluefish, speckled trout, redfish, calico bass, sand bass, corvina, sea-run trout and salmon all hit hard, but these saltwater tough grubs can take it!
They can be used alone as single or double tail grubs on jig heads. Or couple them with our series 11 skirts (also made of saltwater tough plastic), and crawl them across the sea floor to represent succulent SEAFOOD like shrimp, crabs and sand bugs! Or use them as deadly grub trailers on your weedless flats spoons!
And for all you landlubbers, the saltwater tough grubs also excel as freshwater spinnerbait, buzzbait and bass jig trailers. 9J Slim Senko & Color 240
June 21, 2000 - Gary Yamamoto has released a new product, the Slim Senko (9J).
The new Slim Senko was created by popular demand by our top tournament pros in Japan who needed a down-sized Senko to excel under the most extreme pressure conditions.
When you want to get the maximum action and attraction out of your dropshot, splitshot or shakin' rig, it's time to slip on the new Slim Senko!
The Slim Senko utilizes the same design as the rest of the Senko series, which has been winning numerous tournaments as of late. The Slim Senko is four inches long and available in our hottest Senko colors including the beautiful NEW Smoke Blue Pearl (240) that's been the secret color used by of our pros in Japan.
92F Fat Ika
The Fat Ika (92F) was created by popular demand by anglers who desired to catch a bigger grade of bass using fatter styles of soft plastic baits.
The Fat Ika is designed to mimic a juvenile shad or immature bluegill. It's comparable in size and weight to a small fat-bodied crankbait. Unlike a crankbait however, the Fat Ika can be rigged weedless and snagless with a 4/0 Gamakatsu EWG (63 series) or Super Line (64 series) hook. It casts like a bullet, sinks quickly and it's loaded with salt using a patented process.

13S Baby Lizard & Color 294
December, 1999 - Gary Yamamoto has designed a new salt impregnated soft plastic bait, the Baby Lizard (13S) just in time for springtime pre-spawners. Texas rig it for tempting the spookiest bed fish or pair it with a flippin' jig for a smaller profile and a faster drop. It's perfect for a more subtle approach to Carolina rigging in clear water or heavily pressured conditions.
In addition to the new Lizard, a new color has been added just for lizards: color 294 (Light Cinnamon with large black flake) available in both the original 13-series Lizard and the new 13S Baby Lizard.

3S Baby Craw & Color 284
April 26, 1999 - Gary Yamamoto has designed a new salt impregnated soft plastic bait, the Baby Craw (Series 3S). It is smaller in size than the original Yamamoto Craw, but lacks nothing in fish catching appeal.
This Baby Craw is bed fishing dynamite and is the perfect answer for a smaller flipping bait. The original Yamamoto Craw (3) was an instant success but our Pro-Staff wanted more ... in a smaller package. Western Pros wanted a smaller craw for flippin' clear water and Carolina rigging. Eastern Pros wanted a smaller craw for bed fishing and as a trailer for smaller jigs. A new color has been developed for the soft plastic baits. Color 284 (Root Beer w/ Large Red & Small Gold Flake).

3, 13 & 92B - Craw, Lizard and Big Ika
October 13, 1998 - Gary Yamamoto Custom Baits has introduced a trio of products to expand their line of premium quality soft plastic salt impregnated baits.
The Craw (Series 3) features a realistic design, and that salt content that entices fish to hang on. Gary Yamamoto used the new Craw to land a big fish award at the 1998 WON Bass U.S.Open on Lake Mead and was delighted to point out evidence that the bass had been feeding on crawdads.
The Big Ika (Series 92B) is a larger version of the popular Ika; a lure designed to replace tube baits. In Japanese, Ika means "squid," and its unique swimming action makes it the ultimate finesse fishing bait.
The new Lizard (Series 13) has redesigned legs and tail which improved the lizard's swimming action.
