I just had to drop you a line to let you know how much I enjoy your magazine and your web site. I like your informative articles keep up the good work!

I ordered some Senkos (9-series) and some Sugoi hooks (very sharp!) from your Mineola store last month. Your sales staff are top notch and even threw in a couple of extra sample baits. My wife and I used those Senkos (color 169) to put ourselves in first place, and big bas, in our annual spring company tournament by a wide margin. The water temperature was 67 degrees, stained, and the bass were right on the bank.

Most of the bites were extremely light, just watch your line and wait for it to swim off. The bass seem to bite a Senko and not let go. I have always been a huge fan of soft plastic jerk baits, and the Senko has found a spot in my tackle box. Thanks to Gary Yamamoto for making me King of the Shop! I am sure you will be hearing more from us here in Oklahoma. Keep up the good work!

Feel free to add me to your email or direct mail list for future product announcements.  I'm a huge Yamamoto fan and just placed an order for some Fall lures for the championship season.  I usually qualify for one or two regional championships so I need to get ready and Yamamoto's are my "secret" baits of choice.  There is ALWAYS something lurking in your catalog that gives me an edge in tournaments where as many as 300+ anglers are competing including local experts.  You don't know it, but I own you a sincere thanks for the great products I've used to do well in tournaments the past few years.  As I mentioned before, I have qualified for Red Man regionals four times and Yamamoto products played an important role since I primarily fish "soft plastics."

Just wanted to let you know what a very good product you have. I have used the grub in the 135 and 177 colors for a couple of years, caught many bass. I hope to see a floating worm 4 or 5 inches in the very near future. Not to many guys knew about Yamamoto baits so it gave a little edge over the other fisherman. I am sorry to see your ad in Bassmaster magazine, like your ad says "it's not a secret anymore" but I understand you have to show it to sell it. Also very happy with the prices of your product, don't change anything, it works too good.
Thank you
from E.M.

Getting the right bait is critical for tournament action here because the fish are pressured and finicky.  Your team provides us with a bait we can't buy in Oklahoma.  I hope to wear-them-out and get a strong start on the tournament season.

It's nice to see you realize women fish too.  Thanks for not forgetting us in your catalog.
Your site is great.  I just need a bigger credit card!!!

I fished a tournament in Southeastern Oklahoma (Angler's Choice on Lake Broken Bow) Saturday -- tough conditions.  Approximately 80 boats and only 15 limits weighed in. We had one of those limits, finished in the money fishing exclusively with the Senko and the Twin Tail Grub.
Thought you might like to know.

I purchase a lot of bait from your company and as far as I am concerned, there is none better.  We have tried them all and are using yours all the time.  We will continue to do so.  Thanks again for the info.

I'm glad to see that Nanko Fishing Supply in Kaneohe, HAWAII is carrying Gary Yamamoto products.  Living in Kaneohe, it's much more convenient for me.  Previously, I'd go to McCully Bicycle & Sporting Goods in Honolulu.

I like the color selection of Gary Yamamoto curly tails.  Sometimes, with a locally made brand, I cannot find the "right" color I'm looking for smallmouth bass fishing.

Hey This is a great thing you guy's got going here. Don't change a thing, and please keep me on your e-mail list. Thanks for the reply.

Hey, thanks for the newsletter, I purchased some baby craws last week color #194. I have had real good luck on the big craw color #222 Carolina rigged my best fish so far though have been on the 4"skirted double tail color #194. I really enjoy fishing your baits all kinds of ways, lead head, Texas, and Carolina rigs. Keep up the good work.

I love how personal your site it, this is the coolest recieving newsletters as well as tips from the man himself. Keep it up, this is truly a helpful approach.

Thanks again, a thrilled product and site user,
from T.R.

I have been using skirts and double tails for a while, with great sucess and 3 largemouths weighing 10+ pounds. My tackle box will always have a reserved spot for them.

I want to thank your company for helping me take second place here on Candlewood Lake yesterday!  I caught over 25 keepers throughout the day... one on a Spook early and the rest on your Ikas (239) Grubs (237)and Senkos (239 was best).  I fished the Senko wacky style and the smallies ate them up.  Only thing is they tear real easy.  What might be the best way to make repairs...heat or glue?  Gotta go order more!
from C.M.

Your website is very easy to use and very professionally designed. Thank you.

I would like to thank you for the best plastic bait I have used in a long time. I won my first tourny using the Senkos. This bait is amazing. Again thank you very much.

Just wanted to say thank you for the e-mail update on Yamamoto Baits.  I fish with these baits exclusively, and I appreciated being kept up to date on the new products and specials.  I have no way of purchasing these baits anywhere close to where I live.  I use the online store and the mail order catalog.  Thank you for making these available.
from B.G.

Appreciate your products and service. Tell Gary "Congratulations" on his recent success. I use a lot of the lizards in watermelon.

Hi! Just a quick line to let you know that I received my order and put it right to work. I'm impressd went out and did a 28 fish day in 100 degree heat. Never before has this happened, under these conditions. So my hats off to your grubs. Will be trying more of your produces in the near future.

I thought I'd drop you a line just to say thanks for making such outstanding baits. I've been using your plastics for many years, and everywhere I go I get more people addicted to them. I'm in the military so I do a lot of traveling and make a lot of fishing friends. I've been overseas for the last three years until Jan. 99, which has been tough because I've been a tournament bass fishing addict since the 80's. I'm now stationed in Alabama, and back in the tournament curcuit, yeah! I got a partner and signed up for the Alabama Chapter of the "Fishers of Men" national curcuit. My partner and I just won the state championship, and finished 2nd in overall points. We owe this in part to your plastics, specifically the 97 series in 196, 286, 297. In all our tournaments when the bite got tough we went to your plastics. In the state championship on Weiss Lake, we took big bass and 1st place boating all our keepers on 286 and 297 Yamamoto Hula Grubs. In October we get to fish the national championship at Old Hickory lake in Tenn. and you can bet Team Hula's going to give it 100%! I've won a lot of tournaments over the years on your baits, it's nice to come back and find out some things don't change, THANKS!
from P.A.

On a recent trip to southern Ontario, Canada, I gave the 4" Senko a try. I have many other items from your store but fishing was tough. I can't say enough about the Senko's as I was the only one at my lodge who experienced tremendous success everyday, thanks to the Senko. I am a firm believer in all your products and brag about their quality to everyone I fish with. I consider your products a secret weapon that never fails to produce results.
Thanks
from A.L.
